'Henry Martyn' (also spelled 'Henry Martin") is a traditional ballad about a Scottish lad who becomes a pirate to support himself and his two elder brothers. This haunting version was performed by American singer Burl Ives (1909–1995), part of his 1944 album 'The Wayfaring Stranger'.
