'(The) Leaving of Liverpool' is a traditional folk song about a 19th-century mariner bidding farewell to his beloved before he sails from the town of Liverpool, England, to Californa, USA.  It is also known as 'Fare Thee Well, My Own True Love', This lively version is courtesy of the Maritime Museum of San Diego in California, part of its Gold Rush Sea Chanteys collection.
