Tegal Seaman Frontier stands as a response from Seaman Society in Tegal-Indonesia that feel they are always entrapped by unfair rules and practices from Indonesian Crewing Agent in Jakarta which force them to put on signature on their working contract without any satisfying explanation. The rules they’ve made mostly inflict a financial loss for the Seaman and sometimes when work accident happened, they receive unsatisfying and inappropriate insurance protection. Indonesian governments itself never pay more attention for this problem. Because there is no report that focus and concerning on this fatal conditions. No wonder there are still many seaman in Tegal lives under the poverty line although they have work hard more than five years on International fishing fleet. And the most important thing we should concern is there are many victims of work accident on boat make them cannot continue their job as seafarer and their lives getting worse and worse because they never receive appropriate compensation from the insurance agencies in Indonesia that appointed by the crewing agent also. Tegal Seaman Frontier (TSF) is a kind of Professional Organization as a seaman and labor representatives which can manage an arrangement with International fisheries industries, International Fisheries Federations and associations and International Ship Owner and International Offshore Industries to promote Indonesian seaman and labor as their expatriate crew to work on their fishing fleet and offshore Industries.

Yes Port NC is a 501c3 Organization advocating for the construction of the North Carolina International Terminal and Feasibility Study to be conducted by the USACE. Construction of the North Carolina International Terminal has the potential to create or positively impact over 100,000 jobs across the state of North Carolina. Our state as well as our nation needs modern port facilities to assist as our nation's businesses serve the global economy. The NC State Port Authority placed the NCIT project on hold indefinitely due to local opposition from No Port Southport and Save the Cape Organizations, prior to the recommended feasibility study being conducted. This event along with the NC General Assembly's lack of political will to protect and preserve North Carolina's maritime industry is the reason for our organization's existence. We say, "Yes" to NC Small Businesses, "Yes" to NC Jobs and "Yes" to the NCIT Feasibility Study.
